Work method
- You can download your lingual purchase order here.
- Fill it in as completely as possible.
- Have a set of beautiful moulds or models at your disposal (the mould must be lingually 100% sharp, in order to prevent placement problems).
- For a free collection please contact me. If you do this before 15:00 hours, the moulds can still be collected from you in the practice on the same day.
Your lingual brace will be returned to you within 15 workdays.
Lingual IDB instructions with a brace tray.
All braces in the IDB tray are pre-pasted and hardened with a slightly hardened composite.
After receipt of the IDB brace tray.
- Always keep the tray clean!
- 1. Polish, 2. Etch and 3. Dry the lingual surface of the teeth.
- We advise to keep the teeth dry (do not place bonding on the tooth).
- Place a small part of the "MIX GEL" (a mix of primer and composite) on the gingival side of the brackets mesh pads
- Check whether the tooth surface is still dry, if this is not the case .. then etch again.
- Place the tray and hold it tight.
- Illuminate minimally 15 sec. per tooth.
- See to it that you illuminate sufficiently.
- Then the hard tray can be removed.
- Then illuminate again (depends on the intensity of the lamp).
- Carefully remove the soft tray as from distal.
- Illuminate again (depends on the intensity of the lamp).
- Tie up the wire.
Replacing braces
- Cut the right element from the tray
- Place the brace in the tray.
- Clean it with acetone and a cotton pad.
- Place a small part of the "MIX GEL" (a mix of primer and composite) on the gingival side of the brace.
- Illuminate minimally 15 sec.
