Work method

  • You can download your lingual purchase order here.
  • Fill it in as completely as possible.
  • Have a set of beautiful moulds or models at your disposal (the mould must be lingually 100% sharp, in order to prevent placement problems).
  • For a free collection please contact me. If you do this before 15:00 hours, the moulds can still be collected from you in the practice on the same day.

Your lingual brace will be returned to you within 15 workdays.

Lingual IDB instructions with a brace tray.

All braces in the IDB tray are pre-pasted and hardened with a slightly hardened composite.

After receipt of the IDB brace tray.

  • Always keep the tray clean!
  • 1. Polish, 2. Etch and 3. Dry the lingual surface of the teeth.
  • We advise to keep the teeth dry (do not place bonding on the tooth).
  • Place a small part of the "MIX GEL" (a mix of primer and composite) on the gingival side of the brackets mesh pads
  • Check whether the tooth surface is still dry, if this is not the case .. then etch again.
  • Place the tray and hold it tight.
  • Illuminate minimally 15 sec. per tooth.
  • See to it that you illuminate sufficiently.
  • Then the hard tray can be removed.
  • Then illuminate again (depends on the intensity of the lamp).
  • Carefully remove the soft tray as from distal.
  • Illuminate again (depends on the intensity of the lamp).
  • Tie up the wire.

Replacing braces

  • Cut the right element from the tray
  • Place the brace in the tray.
  • Clean it with acetone and a cotton pad.
  • Place a small part of the "MIX GEL" (a mix of primer and composite) on the gingival side of the brace.
  • Illuminate minimally 15 sec.
